JOB CLASSIFICATION: Food Service Worker
LOCATION: Margaret Chase Smith Community School HOURS: 6 hours per day
Monday – Friday
30 hours per week

Skill Requirements
1. Minimum High School Diploma or HiSET
2. Documented knowledge of program requirements & records
3. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team setting
4. Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and reports in a
timely manner
5. Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills 6. Demonstrated ability to follow recipes
7. Documented knowledge of:
- Quantity food production
- Storage and handling techniques
- Sanitation techniques
- Chemical handling, SDS sheets
- Interpreting, following and adapting recipes
- Inventory control
- Interpreting and maintaining HACCP compliance
- Power Lunch for Point of Service and Reporting 8. Documented knowledge sanitation as designated by management
